How to become a lacrosse official.

2009 WALOA Training Schedule:

1.  Register with WALOA. Fill in WALOA under "Find My League", then click on the yellow arrow.  Do not try to fill in a User Name or Password.         Students enter an "S" code in for student discount.

2.  Sign up with US Lacrosse as an Official, Call them at 410-235-6882 if you have problems signing up on-line.

4.  Attend the Training Sessions, pass the tests.

5.  Study the rule book, practice calling a game with  a game video running on your television.

6.  Get in REALLY good shape.  Fastest game on two feet!

7.  Sign up for games starting in February.

8.  Keep checking the schedule.

9.  Throw the flag, blow the whistle, have FUN!

 

Candidates (new officials) that officiate ten or more games in their first season will receive $65.00 uniform stipend!
